Fireworks Forever only imports the highest quality product. Our ratings scale from "Average" to the highest rating in fireworks, "Ooo-Ahh!" Make sure to read the category descriptions as the meanings of these ratings may change with each category.
Categories
COLOR: Not all fireworks have a lot of colors in them, some products were meant to have a lot of colors and some were not. If they were meant to have color, the color should be bright. A top rating probably means that the colors in the product are uncommonly bright. If you see a rating of two, it could mean the colors are more towards an average brightness level, but check to make sure it isn't just a firecracker or other item that doesn't need color to be fantastic!
DURATION or HEIGHT: Duration refers to how long an item lasts. Some items can "wow" you in seconds and some take a while to show off all their effects. There are yet other items that are set up in a way that their discharge time varies. Reloadables, rockets, and roman candles are perfect examples. The time it takes each consumer to light each item will vary. These items are better judged by their height, rather than their duration. The higher the rating, the longer it will last or higher it will go.
NOISE: The noise of an item is pretty self-explanatory. If an item shows a top rating for noise there are going to be loud reports, loud crackle, and/or loud whistles. The lower the rating the quieter the item should be. There will always be a little noise with fireworks, but not everything will wake up the neighbors.
SPACE NEEDED: Each firework requires a certain amount of space. Keep in mind that an item requiring a lot of space doesn't just mean ground space, it requires aerial space as well. Tree cover, houses, power lines and the like should all be taken into account. For example, novelty and flying items are best used on hard surfaces, such as driveways, but some of them also require some overhead aerial space too. Be sure to read the product descriptions and warnings on each item before using it and always check the weather, including fire warnings and wind speeds.

From the different categories to the individual effects, they know what to look for. Their experience gives them the skills they need to deliver educated opinions.
